【 Appearance 】 This product is a colorless to pale yellow clear liquid.

Pharmacological effects: Enrofloxacin is a broad-spectrum bactericidal drug specifically designed for fluoroquinolone animals. It has good effects on Escherichia coli, Salmonella, Klebsiella, Brucella, Pasteurella, Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Corynebacterium erysipelas, Proteus mirabilis, Serratia marcescens, Corynebacterium pyogenes, Bordetella septica, Staphylococcus aureus, Mycoplasma, Chlamydia, etc. It has weak effects on Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Streptococcus, and weak effects on anaerobic bacteria. Has a significant antibacterial effect on sensitive bacteria. The antibacterial mechanism of this product is to inhibit bacterial DNA gyrase, interfere with bacterial DNA replication, transcription, and repair recombination, and prevent bacteria from growing and reproducing normally and dying. The pharmacokinetics of this product shows rapid and complete absorption through intramuscular injection, with a bioavailability of 91.9% in pigs and 82% in cows. Widely distributed in animal bodies, it can easily enter tissues and body fluids. Except for cerebrospinal fluid, the drug concentration in almost all tissues is higher than that in plasma. The liver metabolism mainly involves the removal of the ethyl group of the 7-piperazine ring to produce ciprofloxacin, followed by oxidation and glucuronic acid binding. It is mainly excreted through the kidneys (through tubular secretion and glomerular filtration), with 15% to 50% being excreted in its original form in the urine. The elimination half-life varies greatly among different species of animals and administration routes. The elimination half-life after intramuscular injection is 5.9 hours for cows, 1.5-4.5 hours for sheep, and 4.6 hours for pigs.

[Drug Interactions] (1) This product has a synergistic effect when used in combination with aminoglycosides or broad-spectrum penicillin. (2) Heavy metal ions such as Ca2+, Mg2+, Fe3+, and A3+can chelate with this product, affecting absorption. (3) When combined with theophylline and caffeine, it can reduce the plasma protein binding rate, abnormally increase the concentration of theophylline and caffeine in the blood, and even cause symptoms of theophylline poisoning. (4) This product has an inhibitory effect on hepatic enzymes, which can reduce the clearance rate of drugs mainly metabolized in the liver and increase blood drug concentration.

[Function and Use] Quinolone antibiotics. Used for bacterial diseases and mycoplasma infections in livestock and poultry.

【 Usage and Dosage 】 Intramuscular injection: One dose, 0.025ml per 1kg body weight for cattle, sheep, and pigs; 0.025-0.05ml for dogs, cats, and rabbits. Administer 1-2 times a day for 2-3 consecutive days.

Adverse reactions: (1) Causing degeneration of cartilage in young animals, affecting bone development and causing limping and pain. (2) The reactions of the digestive system include vomiting, loss of appetite, diarrhea, etc. (3) Skin reactions include erythema, itching, urticaria, and photosensitivity. (4) Dogs and cats may occasionally experience allergic reactions, ataxia, and epileptic seizures.

【 Precautions 】 (1) It has a potential excitatory effect on the central system and can induce epileptic seizures. Dogs with epilepsy should use it with caution. (2) Carnivorous animals and animals with renal dysfunction should be used with caution, as occasional crystalline urine may occur. (3) This product is not suitable for dogs before 8 weeks of age. (4) The drug-resistant strains of this product are showing an increasing trend and should not be used for a long time at sub therapeutic doses.
