Pharmacological effects: Pharmacodynamic Taimiao fungicide belongs to the Truncated Pleurotus ostreatus class of antibiotics, which has bactericidal effects on sensitive bacteria at high concentrations. Inhibit bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 50S subunit of ribosomes. Taimiao fungicide has good antibacterial activity against Mycoplasma and Porcine Shigella, as well as against most Gram positive bacteria, including Staphylococcus and Streptococcus (excluding Group D Streptococcus). It has a certain effect on Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae and weak antibacterial activity against most Gram negative bacteria. This product, when combined with streptomycin in a ratio of 1:4, can treat bacterial enteritis, bacterial pneumonia, and porcine dysentery caused by spirochetes. It has significant therapeutic effects on pneumonia caused by mixed infections of Mycoplasma pneumoniae, Bordetella bronchiseptica, and Pasteurella multocida.

The pharmacokinetics showed good absorption after oral administration in pigs. The bioavailability after single dose administration is about 85%, reaching the peak blood drug concentration within 2-4 hours. The drugs entering the body are widely distributed, with the highest concentration in lung tissue. Teramycin is widely metabolized in the body, producing over 20 metabolites, some of which have antibacterial activity. The metabolites of tetracycline are mainly excreted from feces through bile, with about 30% excreted from urine.

[Drug Interactions] (1) When used together with polyether antibiotics such as monensin, salinomycin, and methylsalinomycin, it can affect the metabolism of these polyether antibiotics, causing slow growth, movement disorders, paralysis, and even death in chickens. (2) Co administration with other antibiotics that can bind to the 50S subunit of bacterial ribosomes, such as macrolide antibiotics and lincomycin, may lead to reduced efficacy due to competition for the same site of action.

[Function and Use] Truncated Pleurotus ostreatus antibiotics. Mainly used for the prevention and treatment of chronic respiratory diseases in chickens, Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae pneumonia, Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae pneumonia in pigs, as well as for swine dysentery and porcine proliferative enteritis caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae.     

【 Usage and Dosage 】 Calculate based on this product. Mixed drinking: 0.1-0.13g per 1L of water for pigs, used continuously for 5 days; Chicken 0.28-0.56g, use continuously for 3 days.

[Adverse reactions] When used at the recommended dosage, pigs may sometimes experience skin erythema. Excessive use can cause transient salivation, vomiting, and central nervous system suppression in pigs.
