Amoxicillin belongs to the beta lactam class of antibiotics and has broad-spectrum antibacterial effects. The antibacterial spectrum and activity are basically the same as ampicillin, but the antibacterial activity against most Gram positive bacteria is slightly weaker than penicillin. It is sensitive to penicillin enzymes and therefore ineffective against penicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus. It has a strong effect on Gram negative bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Proteus, Salmonella, Haemophilus, Brucella, and Pasteurella, but these bacteria are prone to developing drug resistance. Not sensitive to Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Due to its better absorption in monogastric animals than ampicillin and higher blood drug concentration, it has a better therapeutic effect on systemic infections. Suitable for systemic infections of the respiratory system, urinary system, skin, and soft tissues caused by sensitive bacteria.

Amoxicillin is quite stable to gastric acid, with 74% to 92% absorption after oral administration in monogastric animals.

【 Drug Interaction 】 ① When combined with aminoglycosides, this product can increase the concentration of the latter in the bacterial body, showing a synergistic effect. ② Rapid acting antibacterial agents such as macrolides, tetracyclines, and amide alcohols can interfere with the bactericidal effect of this product and should not be used together.

[Function and Use] β - lactam antibiotics. Used for infections caused by penicillin sensitive bacteria in chickens.

【 Usage and Dosage 】 Calculate based on this product. Mixed drink: 0.5g chicken per 1L of water. Use twice a day for 3-7 consecutive days.
