【 Main Ingredients 】 Cefotaxime Hydrochloride

【 Appearance 】 This product is a suspension of fine particles. After standing, the fine particles sink and shake to form a uniform milky white suspension.

[Pharmacological effects] Cephalosporin antibiotics. This product has a broad-spectrum bactericidal effect and is effective against both Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria (including lactobacilli). Sensitive bacteria mainly include Pasteurella multocida, Hemolytic Pasteurella, Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Salmonella, Escherichia coli, Streptococcus, Staphylococcus, Haemophilus, etc. Some Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Enterococcus are resistant.

【 Function and Application 】 Used for treating bacterial respiratory diseases in pigs; Treat postpartum uterine inflammation in cows.

【 Usage and Dosage 】 Calculated with cefotaxime. Pig, intramuscular injection: one dose, 3-5mg per 1kg body weight, once a day, for 3-4 consecutive days. Cattle, intramuscular or subcutaneous injection: one dose, 2.2mg per 1kg body weight, once a day, for 5 consecutive days.

Adverse reactions: 1. A very small number of sick animals are allergic to cefotaxime. 2. Cefotaxime has certain nephrotoxicity. 3. May cause gastrointestinal microbiota disorders or secondary infections.

【 Precautions 】 1. Use only under the guidance of a veterinarian. 2. Shake well before use. 3. Not suitable for freezing. Animals that experience allergic reactions should be promptly rescued by injecting adrenaline. 5. Cefotaxime is mainly excreted through the kidneys, and the dosage should be reduced as appropriate for animals with renal insufficiency. 6. Keep out of reach of children. 7. Staff with a history of allergies to penicillin and cephalosporins are prohibited from coming into contact with this product. 8. The injection volume at each injection site shall not exceed 15ml.

[Rest period] Pigs for 4 days; Cow 4 days, abandon milk period 12 hours.
