Aomijia - Jiamimycin Injection

【 Appearance 】 This product is a colorless to pale yellow clear liquid.

Pharmacological effects: Pharmacodynamic macrolide antibiotics. Kamimycin is a semi synthetic nitrogen-containing ester with a 15 membered ring, mainly binding to the 50S subunit of bacterial ribosomes to prevent peptide chain elongation and inhibit bacterial protein synthesis. In vitro experimental data shows that kanamycin has antibacterial effects on bovine hemolytic Manella, Pasteurella multocida, porcine pleuropneumoniae actinomycetes, Pasteurella multocida, and Haemophilus parasuis. The 7a position of the kanamycin lactone ring is an alkylated nitrogen, which can be rapidly absorbed under physiological pH conditions and maintained for a long time in the lung tissue of target animals.

Pharmacokinetic study showed that a single dose of 6mg/kg body weight subcutaneous injection of streptomycin was administered to the neck of cattle, and the maximum blood drug concentration was achieved within 30-60 minutes with a bioavailability greater than 98% and no gender differences. In vitro plasma protein binding studies showed a free drug concentration of 74%. The apparent distribution volume is 25L/kg. Gamma mycin can reach its maximum concentration in the lungs in less than 24 hours, and a lung/plasma concentration ratio greater than 264 indicates that gamma mycin can be rapidly absorbed into target tissues to combat respiratory diseases. The half-life of blood medicine is long (>2 days). The drug is mainly excreted in its original form through bile.

A single dose of 6mg/kg body weight intramuscular injection of streptomycin was administered to the neck of pigs, and the maximum blood drug concentration was reached within 5-10 minutes with a bioavailability greater than 92%. The in vitro plasma protein binding assay showed a free drug concentration of 77%. The apparent distribution volume is 39L/kg.

Gamma mycin can be rapidly absorbed into target tissues to combat respiratory diseases. The concentration of kanamycin in the lungs is much higher than that in the blood, and the half-life of the drug in the blood is long (about 4 days). The drug is mainly excreted in its original form through bile.

[Function and Application] Used for treating bovine respiratory diseases caused by streptomycin sensitive Brucella, Pasteurella multocida, and Mycoplasma; Porcine respiratory diseases caused by Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella multocida, and Haemophilus parasuis.     

【 Usage and Dosage 】 Calculated based on the amount of streptomycin added. Subcutaneous injection: One dose, 6mg per 1kg body weight for cattle (equivalent to 1ml per 25kg body weight injection). The administration volume of each injection site shall not exceed 10ml. Intramuscular injection: one dose, 6mg per 1kg body weight for pigs (equivalent to 1ml per 25kg body weight injection). The administration volume of each injection site shall not exceed 5ml.

【 Adverse reactions 】 When this product is injected subcutaneously or intramuscularly into pigs, there may be brief swelling at the injection site, occasionally accompanied by mild pain.

[Precautions] 1. Prohibited for animals allergic to macrolide antibiotics. 2. It is prohibited to use it together with other macrolides or lincolamine antibiotics. 3. Prohibited for lactating cows. 4. Prohibited for pregnant cows with a due date within 2 months. 5. This product has not undergone safety assessment for pregnant sows. Please use it according to the risk assessment of the veterinarian. 6. Kamimycin may be irritating to the eyes and/or skin, and contact with the skin and/or eyes should be avoided. If accidentally touched, rinse immediately with water. 7. If accidentally injected into the human body, seek medical attention immediately and provide the label or instructions of this product to the doctor. 8. Wash hands after use. 9. Keep out of reach of children. 10. The bottle is valid for 28 days after opening, and any unused parts after expiration will be discarded.
